Highland Jr. Bulldogs Basketball (HJBB) is a non-profit organization located in Highland, Illinois. It was created to provide boys and girls in the community the opportunity to learn and develop their basketball skills in a competitive environment.

 
 
 

Jr. Bulldogs Academy

The Jr. Bulldogs Academy is an off-season program for Highland CUSD #5 boys and girls interested in playing basketball. HJBB is offering this program to teach 3rd-6th grade boys and girls fundamental basketball skills and team drills. The Academy is ran by former and current Highland High School/Middle School coaches, former and current college/high school players as well as volunteer HJBB coaches and basketball enthusiasts. Academy is held on Sunday nights at Highland High School. For 2023, we will begin on Sunday, April 2nd and continue through the end of August.

About Us

HJBB gives an opportunity for kids living in the CUSD #5 school district to be involved in a competitive basketball environment where they can practice basketball skills and compete in local tournaments. Through fundraising efforts and corporate donations, HJBB is able to provide our individual teams with equipment, uniforms, insurance and qualified instruction at an affordable cost.

Originally launched as the Highland Shooters in 2015, Highland Jr. Bulldogs Basketball (HJBB) has grown to include 13 teams for 3rd-6th grade boys and girls.
