Our Mission

Highland Jr. Bulldogs Basketball (HJBB) is a non-profit organization located in Highland, Illinois. It was created to provide boys and girls in the community the opportunity to learn and develop their basketball skills in a competitive environment.

Our mission is to offer a traveling basketball tryout opportunity for all interested  3rd - 6th grade boys and girls residing in the CUSD #5 school district. Once teams are chosen, HJBB supports the individual teams with insurance, uniforms, equipment, facilities and financial resources to participate in local tournaments.

"Having a unified traveling youth basketball program in Highland allows for an environment where coaches can collaborate and resources can be shared. It gives kids the opportunity to feel like they are part of something - all the way up through the high school level."

— Brett Pollard, Founder
