About Us

HJBB began as a single team (Highland Shooters) in 2015. After recognizing the absence of a community-wide, traveling basketball program, the founding board members set out to fill that void. We are a non-profit  organization dedicated to giving kids the opportunity to experience competitive basketball in southwestern Illinois.

Through fundraising efforts and corporate donations, HJBB is able to provide our individual traveling teams with the financial support necessary for equipment, uniforms, insurance and qualified instruction at an affordable cost. The foundation of our organization is built on the idea that kids should have the chance to participate in a competitive environment that is not cost prohibitive for anyone.
